Float Glass Breaking Systems

Fully Automatic Breaking of Trim Cuts and X- and Y-Cuts

ARS – Breaking system for trim cuts and removal of remaining pieces ARS breaks and removes front and rear trim cuts of already cut glass sheets across the entire width of the subplates. The intelligent breaking device used ensures that trim cuts are neatly broken apart. Glass pieces are automatically disposed of into a container situated underneath the machine. Even thin glass sheets can be easily processed and transported. Extendable support rollers avoid that any of the cuts are unintentionally broken apart.

TBX – Automatic and fixed breaking system Once the front and rear trim cuts have been removed, the glass sheet is transported to the TBX on a belt transport unit. The pneumatically operated TBX breaking bar then breaks all x-cuts apart. Individual subpla-tes are the result. A pneumatic counter support applies the counter pressure required to ensure neatly bro-ken glass panes.

TDV – Horizontal subplate turning equipment (90°)

TDV-33 has been developed to avoid the use of a y-cut breaking system arranged at 90°.

The transport section of this space-saving machine is equipped with a roller drive and an integrated li ing and turning plate, which li s the glass sheet off , turns it 90° and then lowers it again. Following this, the sub-plates are transported to the TBR subplate breaking system by means of the downstream belt transport unit. TBR then breaks all the y-cuts. Optionally, two narrow subplates can be simultaneously turned and transported to the downstream breaking device through split drives. This optional equipment allows an enormous increase in performance.

TBR – Automatic subplate breaking system with integrated removal of trim cuts and remaining pieces TBR can break apart both trim cuts and y-cuts. The subplates turned by the TDV are broken apart, and front and, if necessary, rear trim cuts are removed. Glass pieces are automatically disposed of into a container situated underneath the machine.
